Question: Does the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) require the individual who completes and submits the Attestation and Discrepancy Reporting web form to be an individual who can legally and financially bind the organization?
Answer: No. However, when completing the attester details in the web form, that individual must be someone who can legally and financially bind the organization and who is aware of the contents of the web form.
