Question: Can the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provide clarification regarding the overlapping claims software discrepancy discussed on the 4/27 discrepancy reporting webinar?

Answer: CMS will release a communication concerning software updates via email and by REGTAP Announcement. CMS will work directly with issuers who identify issues to resolve any issues identified. CMS will also communicate with other entities regarding discrepancies that might potentially affect issuers on a wider scale.
