Additional Guidance on Best Available Evidence
Guidance for a reminder to sponsors of the requirements associated with CMS’ “best available evidence” (BAE) policy for determining the Medicare Part D low-income subsidy (LIS) cost sharing, and to describe a new process for submitting requests to update LIS status for beneficiaries who are “deemed” eligible for LIS that will better ensure that these updates reflect accurate information.
