Champions for Coverage

Guidance for national stakeholder calls and webinars to present the most up to date Health Insurance Marketplace information and get feedback from stakeholders

Final

Issued by: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

Issue Date: February 11, 2020

For 2022 coverage, the open enrollment period will run from November 1, 2021 to January 15, 2022. Champions are key to sharing this information with their networks and communities.

To continue to take advantage of the online Health Insurance Marketplace, millions of uninsured Americans need to know about it and sign up. We need help from the public and private sectors to let people know about the benefits of having health insurance and get them enrolled. We encourage you to take advantage of the Marketplace official resources (https://marketplace.cms.gov/) that are available. The link includes Health Insurance Marketplace outreach materials  such as fact sheets, brochures, and post cards in English and Spanish. Training materials are also available.

We host national stakeholder calls and webinars to present the most up to date Health Insurance Marketplace information and get feedback from stakeholders. All stakeholder call announcements and details on how to participate will be posted below.
