Guidance for the Provider Reimbursement Review Board with List of PRRB Jurisdictional Decisions for review.

Issued by: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

Issue Date: August 24, 2018

After a request for a Provider Reimbursement Review Board hearing is filed in accordance with 42 C.F.R. § 405.1835 or 42 C.F.R. § 405.1837, the Board must determine whether it has jurisdiction to grant a hearing on each of the specific matters at issue in the hearing request. See 42 C.F.R. § 405.1840. The Board regularly issues these jurisdictional decisions in addition to published substantive decisions. Final jurisdictional decisions and dismissal decisions made by the Board are subject to Administrator and judicial review per 42 C.F.R. § 405.1840(a)(5).
