Guidance for contacting CMS regarding questions about the Shared Savings program

Accountable Care Organizations (ACO)
Participating ACOs with questions regarding the Shared Savings Program operations and policy should contact their ACO Coordinator as their first point of contact. ACOs with questions related to program data and program reports; ACO Management System (ACO-MS); and assistance with user access to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) systems, including password resets may send an email to: SharedSavingsProgram@cms.hhs.gov. Inquirers should include their ACO ID and ACO name.
ACO applicants with questions about their application status should send an email to: SharedSavingsProgram@cms.hhs.gov. Inquirers should include the ACO ID and ACO name.
Beneficiaries
Beneficiaries should call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), TTY users should call 1-877-486-2048 for the following:
- General questions about the Shared Savings Program.
- To decline sharing health care information.
- To select their primary clinician, the health care provider they believe is responsible for coordinating their overall care, in www.MyMedicare.gov.
