Question: What is the applicable use of product/Service ID qualifiers on pharmacy claims?

Answer: If the National Drug Code (NDC) exists in the EDGE global reference data, product/Service ID qualifier '02' must be used. For all other valid NDC and UPC codes, pharmacy claims must be submitted with a '01' qualifier.
