Hemophilia Clotting Factor Indicator on Average Sales Price (ASP) Drug Pricing File
Guidance for FIs and Part A MACs to make appropriate payment for the blood clotting factor in an efficient and effective manner. For this purpose, CMS has modified the Average Sales Price (ASP) drug pricing file format to include a field that will identify a HCPCS code as being eligible for the add-on payment. This instruction includes a new ASP drug pricing file format that is intended for FI and Part AMAC use only.
