Public Reporting of the Deficit Reduction Act (DRA) HAC Measure Rates
CMS developed a "Frequently Asked Questions (PDF)" (FAQ) document that includes general information about public reporting, measure methodology, and calculation process for the measure rates of four conditions in the DRA HAC payment provision. CMS only reports these four DRA HAC measures on https://data.cms.gov/ for hospitals’ reference and quality improvement. CMS does not report these measures publicly as part of the DRA HAC payment provision or the HAC Reduction Program.
