Hospital Audit Workload Updates
Updating the hospital audit sections in chapter 5 of the Medicare Secondary Payer Internet Only Manual to clarify the workload expectations for a contractor having multiple states for which they have claims processing responsibility. Also, in preparation of the implementation of Medicare Contracting Reform, replacing references to fiscal intermediary with contractor.
