Implementation of Changes in the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) and Payment for Dialysis Furnished for Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in ESRD Facilities for Calendar Year (CY) 2024
The purpose of this Change Request (CR) is to implement the CY 2024 rate updates and policies for the ESRD PPS and to implement the payment for renal dialysis services furnished to beneficiaries with AKI in ESRD facilities. This Recurring Update Notification applies to Publication 100-02, Medicare Benefit Policy Manual, Chapter 11, Section 50.
