The MITA is intended to foster integrated business and IT transformation across the Medicaid enterprise to improve the administration of the Medicaid program.
The MITA Initiative: A national framework to support improved systems development and health care management for the Medicaid enterprise.

(The MTG is comprised of an informal group of interested parties designed solely to provide ad hoc technical assistance. The MTG brings a unique, individual contribution in that MTG members represent both private and government perspectives. They bring a blend of IT and information systems skill sets including program management and information technology management and a commitment to using information technology to improve the health care industry.)
