Guidance for Medicare Approved Facilities/Trials/Registries on a national coverage determination (NCD) for Medicare coverage of screening for lung cancer with low dose computed tomography (LDCT).

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has updated the national coverage determination (NCD) for Medicare coverage of screening for lung cancer with low dose computed tomography (LDCT) if certain eligibility requirements are met, effective February 10, 2022. Note that as of February 10, 2022, submission of data to a registry is no longer a coverage requirement. Below is the CMS-approved lung cancer screening registry that had satisfied the registry participation requirement of the prior NCD.
