Medicare Managed Care Manual Chapter 16a Private Fee-for-Service
Chapter 16a is a new chapter in the Medicare Managed Care Manual that provides guidance specific to Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) plans. We issued a draft of Chapter 16a for public comment on March 11, 2011, and considered those comments carefully as we finalized it. Chapter 16a also incorporates guidance from the Contract Year 2012 Rate Announcement and Final Call Letter, issued April 4, 2011.
