Modification to Existing Medicare Summary Notice (MSN) Procedures Regarding the MSN Customer Service Information Box
In an effort to provide the most timely and effective customer service to Medicare beneficiaries, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is encouraging beneficiaries to first call 1-800 MEDICARE with their questions or concerns before sending in written inquiries. If after speaking to a customer service representative (CSR), beneficiaries still wish to correspond in writing, a mailing
address will be provided to them by the CSR
