Pub 100-04 Medicare Claims Processing: Announcement of Medicare Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) Payment Rate Increases
Guidance that rescinds Transmittal 2343, dated November 4, 2011, and replaces it with Transmittal 2406, dated January 30, 2012. The replacement provides the correct 2012 payment rate increases for Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). The Medicare Economic Index (MEI) rate previously published did not contain the productivity adjustment used for determining the RHC and FQHC upper payment limit.
