Pub 100-04 Medicare Claims Processing: Non-systems Internet Only Manual (IOM) Changes
Guidance providing an update that per the National Uniform Billing Committee (NUBC), the Priority (Type) of Admission or Visit Code is required for all institutional claims, except for bill type 014X. The update is only for the Internet Only Manual (IOM); systems changes are already complete. The Other Diagnosis Codes (Form Locators 67A-67Q) language has been updated.
