Pub 100-04 Medicare Claims Processing: Type of Service (TOS) Corrections
Guidance announcing the correction of several type of service (TOS) indicator inconsistencies that were not in the Annual 2008 TOS update instruction (Change Request 5838, Transmittal 1410). The corrections/changes are in the Attachment and in Chapter 26, Section 10.7. All HCPCS codes have a corresponding TOS indicator, and in some instances , the indicator affects payment.
