Guidance for Promoting Interoperability program registration and attestation.

Eligible hospitals and CAHs participating in the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program must attest through the QualityNet Secure Portal. If you are new to the QualityNet system, you must enroll. For further instruction on how to enroll, use this QualityNet Secure Portal Enrollment and Login User Guide (PDF).

The QualityNet User Guide for Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program participants can be found here (PDF). This guide contains step by step directions on how to navigate the Hospital Quality Reporting Web-Based Data Collection Tool that is used to submit data for the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Programs.

For calendar year (CY) 2021, Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program participants must attest by March 31, 2022. More information on CY 2021 reporting requirements can be found here.
