Question: What is the difference between the 'RA' and 'RAD' Risk Adjustment payment type codes?
Answer: The payment type code RA is used for Risk Adjustment transfer payment transactions and the payment type code RAD is used for Risk Adjustment default charge transactions. For definitions of other payment type codes, please reference the Washington Publishing website at www.wpc-edi.com.
