Guidance for FAQ regarding Payment Processing and Payment Reports

Question: Do Preliminary Payment Reports (PPR) contain netting details? If not, what other CMS report should Issuers use to review their current month offsets?

Answer: The HIX 820 report should be used to review current month offsets. Issuers can also use the Payee Information Report to show what has been offset in the current payment cycle and any outstanding balances remaining as of the report run date.
