Jonathan Jackson, PhD, Community Access, Recruitment, and Engagement (CARE) Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, examined the importance of designing inclusive trials for diverse and growing patient populations. This presentation also covered barriers to achieving diversity in recruitment, inclusive clinical trial designs, and how IRBs can help ensure equitable research enrollment and retention.
