Speakers Rhonda G. Kost, MD, Rockefeller University, Center for Clinical Translational Science and Sana Khoury-Shakour, Ph.D., University of Michigan described efforts and shared lessons learned for assessing research participant experiences through a Research Participant Perception Survey (RPPS). They also discussed the significance of participant perspectives in research and shared tips on how to implement these perspectives to improve human research protection programs (HRPPs). This presentation was delivered at the OHRP Research Community Forum co-sponsored with the University of Michigan in September 2023.
