Real Property Policy and Strategy provides HHS-wide real property portfolio policy development, and utilization and compliance oversight under the authority of the HHS Senior Real Property Officer and the HHS Chief Sustainability Officer, in accordance with Executive Orders, laws, regulations and government-wide policy.
Services offered to all HHS agencies include:
- Oversee facilities master planning and construction programs
- Develop and implement policy for all HHS facilities
- Support HHS leasing programs, including acquisition, rightsizing, and disposal
- Manage HHS real property database and analyze data to measure portfolio performance
- Prepare reports to meet Federal Real Property Council and other requirements
- Coordinate HHS sustainability, historic preservation, and energy/water management programs
- Provide administrative and operations support to the Capital Investment Review Board
